This movie was shot in the Acadian heartland and in Montreal by Ginette Pellerin.
This unique film is a portrait of the Acadian writer who became famous through her performances as La Sagouine, and who subsequently achieved international acclaim when she was awarded the Prix Goncourt in 1979.
