Whether you choose group or private instruction, classes can be held at our school or at your location, and are scheduled according to your availability. With the help of qualified and experienced instructors, we customize the curriculum, length and frequency of the training to meet your company’s needs and budget.


2. Fluency Tests

We can assess the level of fluency of your employees or of a fresh prospect who will complement your team. We can assess their written or oral skills.

Oral skills

During a short interview (about 15 min.) by phone or in our facilities, we assess their listening, speaking and interaction skills, taking into account phonetics, grammar, vocabulary and fluency of speech.
Please note that we require a week’s notice for the interview appointment.
Then, we provide you with a comprehensive written report within 72 hours by email.

Written skills

The test will be based on professional tasks that the employee has to carry out. A list of the specific tasks they want us to be assessed is required.

This test encompasses comprehension, expression and interaction including vocabulary (extent and mastery) as well as grammar.
Testing is offered at the Alliance Francaise du Manitoba and will last 45 mIn. Please note that we require a week notice for the appointment.

Then, we provide you with a comprehensive written report within 72 hours by email.

3. Avoid customer service disasters !

When you are responsible for a customer service team, you need to make sure that your employees are competent in French.

  •  Assesment of oral skills for customer service representatives

We have the solution!

Because customer service representatives constantly interact with the public, good communication and problem-solving skills are a must. Verbal communication and listening skills are especially important. So, if you want to make sure that your representatives have the ability to answer your French-speaking customers, we can assess their level in French for you. It’s simple!

  1. The candidate makes an appointment with us (we require a week’s notice). We are available from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
  2. He/she is assessed by phone or at our facilities (934 Corydon Avenue). The interview takes about 15 min. We assess their listening, speaking and oral interaction skills, which include fluency, phonetics, and grammar durind a role play between a representative (candidate) and a client (examiner).
  3. You receive the results by email within 72 hours.

Focused on oral communication, this course is designed for customer service representatives who need to improve their communication skills in French.

During this course, the participants will acquire a professional vocabulary, strengthen their grammar knowledge, and will improve their listening and speaking skills overall (especially over the phone) through role plays and communicative activities over the phone or face to face.

Within a 15 hour-training program, your representatives will have a level in French sufficient to:
- clarify customer’s request
- resolve concerns or problems
- give detailed information about customers records
- facilitate solutions
- enhance customer service offerings

The course can take place in our facilities or at your office, anytime during the day (including lunch time) from Monday to Saturday mornings.
